In this situation, it is necessary to connect the converter box (with the descrambler supplied by the cable
TV company) between the cable line and the ANT IN terminal on the VCR.
Leave the TV's channel selector on channel 3 (or 4) at all time.
Set the VCR/TV select button on the N926U to VCR and select channel 3 (or 4) by using the CHAN-
NE L/SET (v )/( 1\) buttons on the VC R.
You can watch or record any channel by selecting it with the channel buttons of the remote control
on the converter box.
If you want to record one channel while watching another, connect as follows:

In this situation you can record a pay channel program while watching another channel.
• Two descramblers are not always necessary.
• To record one program while watching another, set the RF switch to the appropriate ("A" or "8")
position.
CAUTION:
Pay channels are scrambled in many different ways.
Please contact your cable TV company to answer questions concerning hookup or cable TV ope-
ration.
