CHANNEL PRESETTING (SKIP MEMORY)
A computerized tuning system is used for the N926U frequency synthesized tuner, making the unit
cable-capable with
110
channels. SKIP MEMORY is a feature which allows you to erase unwanted chan-
nels or channels without programming, making up/down channel scanning faster and free from unused
channels.
Preparation:
• Press the POWER switch to turn the VCR on.
• Turn the TV on and select the RF output channel (3 or 4). (which ever one is not used in your area).
See RF OUT Channel switch on the rear of the VCR.
• Press the VCR/TV select button to VCR position. ( IVCR I indicator lights in the display.)

Open the front compartment.

Use the TV/CATV button to select either broadcast TV
channels or cable TV channels (STD ,H RC, or I RC). Contact
your local cable company to verify if they use the Standard
(STDl. H RC or I RC cable frequencies.

Press the SKIP/PRESET button. The display should appear
as illustrated. (Current time and channel position.)

Press the AUTO PRESET button. The VCR will automati-
cally scan all the available channels and memorize them
automatically. When it finishes scanning the channels, the
VCR will automatically return to the original channel and
switch out of the AUTO PRESET mode into the normal
tunning mode. The VCR can now be used to tune any avai-
lable channel using the CHANNEL/SET (v)/(I\) buttons.
*IF YOU WANT TO ERASE VACANT OR
UNWANTED CHNNELS:
Any
ch~nnel
memorized during the AUTO PRESET function
can be erased if necessary.

Tune the channel you want to erase by using the CHAN-
NE L/SET (v )/(

buttons.
CV
Press the SKIP/PRESET button.

Press the ADD/ERASE button. The channel is now erased
from the tuning memory.

Press the SKIP/PRESET button to return to normal tuning.
