Message Corrective Action
Floppy disk(s) This occurs if the BIOS can't find or initialize the flexible
failed disk drive controller or the flexible disk drive. If there is no
flexible disk drive installed, ensure the drive selection in
Setup is set to "None".
Primary (Master The BIOS has detected an error in the Primary, Master or
or Slave) hard Slave, IDE hard drive.

Secondary The BIOS has detected an error in the Secondary, Master or

No CD-ROM The BIOS could not find a CD-ROM (IDE or SCSI) when
found searching for hardware devices.
SCSI BIOS not If none of the SCSI devices are connected to the SCSI
loaded Controller, the SCSI BIOS will not be loaded.
Disk Boot Failure The BIOS had difficulty with the boot drive and provides
you with an option to boot the NetServer.
No SCSI Boot The BIOS could not find an IDE device to boot from, so it

Verify the data cable is connected between the
controller and the flexible disk drive.
Ensure the flexible disk drive has a power connector
attached to it.
Verify both Master and Slave IDE hard drive are
connected to the data and power cables.
Verify both Master and Slave IDE hard drive are
connected to the data and power cables.
Verify the CD-ROM is connected to the data and
power cables and it is in the boot list.
Verify all SCSI devices have data and power cables
connected and the data cable is connected to the SCSI
Controller.
Insert System Disk and press Enter.
Verify which device type you are booting from and
ensure all mass storage devices have data and power
cables connected.
