Viewing System Information For A Machine

The AppAssure 5 Core Console provides you with an at-a-glance view of all of the machines that are being protected by
including a list of the machines as well as each machine's status.
To view system information for a machine:
1.
Navigate to the AppAssure 5 Core Console and then click the Machines tab.
2.
From the Machines tab, perform one of the following:
Click the hyperlink for the machine you want to view.
Or, in the Navigation pane, select the machine you want to view.

Click the Tools tab, and then click System Info.
The information about the machine is displayed in the System Information page. The details that are displayed
include the following:
Host Name
OS Version
OS Architecture
RAM (Physical)
Display Name
Fully Qualified Domain Name
Detailed information about the volumes contained on this machine includes:
Processors
Type of processors
Network adapters
IP addresses associated with this machine

Configuring Notification Groups For System Events

In AppAssure 5, you can configure how system events are reported for your machine by creating notification groups.
These events could be system alerts, errors, and so on.
To configure notification groups for system events:
1.
Navigate to the AppAssure 5 Core Console and then click the Machines tab.
2.
From the Machines tab, perform one of the following:
Click the hyperlink for the machine you want to modify.
Or, in the navigation pane, select the machine you want to modify.

Select a repository for the recovery points. Displays the repository on the AppAssure 5
Core in which to store the data from this machine.
NOTE: This setting can only be changed if there are no recovery points or the
previous repository is missing.
Edit the encryption key if necessary. Specifies whether encryption is applied to the data
for every volume on the machine that is stored in the repository.
