Test equipment: none.
Sub Menus:
1. Main RAM
2. Video RAM
3. Exit
Purpose:
Main RAM: Verify the system SDRAM function.
Video RAM: Verify the video RAM (Frame buffer).
Test Method:
1. Main RAM: Randomly write 1K bytes 0X55AA into system SDRAM and read back to compare. Display the
access address and pass or fail.
2. Video RAM: This item is different with the video test item, this item write and read from Video RAM to verify the
access function at the video RAM.
Leave method: Touch pen, Serial port, Home button
--- Provide for RAM test as below.
After selecting item 8, system will enter the sub menus:
Barracuda PDA Maintenance
Chose item1 or item 2 from the sub menu:
a. If test is OK, system will show "Pass" on message display area.
b. If test is failed, system will show "Fail" on message display area.
Chose item 3, system will return to menu A.
