7.4 Device Range that Can Be Set

The device ranges of controller that can be used for GOT
are as follows.
Note that the device ranges in the following tables are the
maximum values that can be set in GT Designer3.
The device specifications of controllers may differ
depending on the models, even though belonging to the
same series.
Please make the setting according to the specifications of
the controller actually used.
When a non-existent device or a device number outside
the range is set, other objects with correct device settings
may not be monitored.

(1) When using YOKOGAWA PLC FA-M3
When YOKOGAWA PLC FA-M3 is used, the
device range that can be used differs depending
on the PLC model selected by the GT Designer3.
Since [YOKOGAWA STARDOM/FA-M3] has
larger device points that can be set than
[YOKOGAWA FA500/FA-M3], select
[YOKOGAWA STARDOM/FA-M3] if a large device
points should be set.
(2) Devices to be set for an object
When a device outside the range is set for an
object, an indefinite value is displayed on the
object.(No error is displayed in the system alarm.)
A device to be set for an object must be in the
device range of YOKOGAWA PLC.
