18) Check to ensure that all removed parts are back in
place.
Reinstall any necessary parts which have not been
reinstalled.
19) Refill cooling system with coolant referring to
"Cooling System Flush and Refill in Section 1F in
related manual".
20) Refill engine with engine oil referring to "Engine Oil
and Filter Change in Section 0B in related manual".

Timing Chain Cover Components

"a": 3 mm (0.12 in.)
"b": 2 mm (0.08 in.)
1. Crankshaft pulley bolt
2. Crankshaft pulley
3. Oil seal
: Apply engine oil to oil seal lip.
4. Timing chain cover
: See "A"
: See "B"
5. Pin
6. Cylinder head cover gasket
7. Timing chain cover mounting bolts
"A": Apply sealant 99000-31140 to the mating surface of cylinder and cylinder head.
"B": Apply sealant 99000-31250 to the mating surface of timing chain cover referring to the figure of Step 1) in "Installation" of "Timing Chain
Cover Removal and Installation".
"C": Apply sealant 99000-31250 to the sealing point for timing chain cover mating surface and cylinder head gasket sealing point referring to
"Installation" under "Cylinder Head Cover Removal and Installation".
21) Refill transaxle with transaxle oil referring to "Manual
Transaxle Oil Change in Section 5B in related
manual" or A/T with specified A/T fluid (vehicle with
A/T) referring to "A/T Fluid Change in Section 5A".
22) Connect negative cable at battery.
23) Verify that there is no fuel leakage, coolant leakage,
oil leakage, A/T fluid leakage (vehicle with A/T) and
exhaust gas leakage at each connection.
