5.2 Connection Procedure When Adding an ETERNUS DX/AF
Adding five or more ETERNUS DX/AF storage systems
To add five or more ETERNUS DX/AF storage systems, cascade the power synchronized units by adding another
power synchronized unit.
The procedure is described below.
Procedure
1
Set the required settings for power synchronization of the ETERNUS DX/AF storage systems
that are to be added.
For details about the ETERNUS DX/AF settings, refer to

Install the power synchronized unit that is to be added in the rack.

Turn on the added power synchronized unit.
