Adding a Connecting Device
Devices (servers, power synchronized units, and ETERNUS DX/AF storage systems) that are to be power
synchronized can be added during system operation.
This chapter explains how to connect a power synchronized unit when these devices are added.
Make sure to check
AF before adding a device.

Connection Procedure When Adding a Server

This section describes how to connect the power synchronized unit to synchronize power with an added server.
For details about server installation, connection, and settings, refer to the manual provided with the server.

Connect the server UPS unit for the added server to the power synchronized unit.
