Chapter 2 Introduction to Editing Operations
Video clips are the materials that you will use to create your edit. The first
step in an edit is to create video clips by using the following procedure.

Insert a tape with source materials into the player VCR.

In the EditStation initial screen, click the Video Clip Editor button.
If the Video Clip Editor button is dimmed and cannot be selected, click
somewhere in the Clip Bin window to make it the active window.

The following window appears. This is the Video Clip Editor dialog
box.
P1 (player 1) is selected as the source VCR, and the video of player 1
is displayed in the LIVE window.
