3.8 Broadcasting
Broadcasting by Pressing the [Broadcast] Key
By assigning the Broadcast function to any function key as a [Broadcast] key, you can activate the Broadcast function by
pressing the key.

Press the [Broadcast]
The Broadcast function will activate and a mode change tone will emit from the activated transceiver.

Speak into the microphone while pressing the
The broadcast continues while the [PTT] key is pressed.
Release the [PTT] key to end the call.

To end the broadcast, press the
A mode change tone will emit and users will return to the "Group Call Mode" of their own groups.

Broadcast is also canceled in the following situations.

When the time configured in Broadcast Timer has lapsed.

When the power of the transceiver that has started Broadcast is turned off, or when it is out of range.
