CHILD LOCK

The CHILD LOCK prevents the oven being switched on whilst in stand
by (off) mode. It can also be activated during the cooking mode to stop
the temperature or duration of the cooking from being accidently
changed. The CHILD LOCK function will not stop the unit from being
turned off whilst in the cooking mode. The CHILD LOCK function does
not lock the door. The CHILD LOCK function wil be automatically
cancelled if the oven is turned off from the dial, or a power failure occurs.
To activate the CHILD LOCK during cooking mode
1. Select the oven function and set
a temperature. If necessary, set
the cooking duration.
2. Press and hold the Timer button

) for about 5 seconds until
the Lock symbol(
in the display.
3. Time setting display will be
converted to the oven operation display after 10 seconds.
To activate the CHILD LOCK whilst in stand by mode with clock
display on , follow step 2 only.

De-activating the lock system

1. Press and hold the Timer button(
no longer displayed. The Lock System has now been de-activated.
The CHILD LOCK function is deactivated when the oven is turned off.

Rapid heat-up

The oven is supplied with rapid heat-up switched off. to activate the
rapid heat up option see page 56 for setting instructions before using
the oven. Rapid heat-up will only operate when Convection heat, Hot
air, Conventional heat functions are selected.
During the rapid heat-up phase the top and rear element in the oven
are used to reach the required temperature as quickly as possible.
