Removing DIMM
Follow the procedure below to remove the DIMM.
1. Shutdown OS.
The system turns off automatically.
2. Disconnect the power cords from the outlets.
3. Remove the CPU/IO module according to Chapter 2 (5.4.1 Removing CPU/IO Module).
4. Remove three screws (two on the front and one on the rear), and remove the top cover of the CPU/IO
module.
5. Remove the air duct.
Important
At least one DIMM is required to operate the server.
