6. Detach accelerator cable extension spring(s) (Figure 5-5, Page 5-2). See following NOTE.
NOTE: Later models have a second spring attached to a unique cable end bolt that is taller and grooved.
7. Loosen cable clamp that secures accelerator cable (Figure 5-6, Page 5-2). This will allow additional travel so that
the cable can be disconnected at pedal.
