Operating status

The recording function has the following operating statuses for each recording setting.
The operating status can be checked in the "Recording Monitor" screen or in the buffer memory of a recorder module.

'1' is stored in 'Data sampling' of a recorder module during data sampling and accumulation.
When selecting "File Saving Trigger Only" for the recording method, '1' is stored in 'In recording operation'
then in 'Data sampling' of a recorder module.
When selecting "Recording Startup Trigger + File Saving Trigger" for the recording method, '1' is stored in
'Data sampling' after a recording startup trigger is satisfied.

Precautions
Regardless of the recording method, data is accumulated while '1' is stored in 'Data sampling.' For example, data is not
accumulated even when the DATATRG instruction is executed if "Trigger Instruction" is selected for the sampling method and
'1' is not stored in 'Data sampling.'

1.1 Recording Function
Description
The function is stopped.
The status will be 'stopped' in the following cases:
• After starting a recorder module
• After resetting a CPU module
• No recording settings are written
Operations such as analysis of a recording setting are being prepared.
The function is running.
Data is sampled by a CPU module according to the sampling method while the status is 'operating' regardless of
whether a recording startup trigger is satisfied and a recording file is saved. (Page 30 Sampling methods)
Note that a period for data accumulation differs depending on the recording method. (Page 16 Recording
methods)
A file saving trigger is satisfied and data in the remaining saving period is being sampled and accumulated.
A recording file is being saved.
If multiple recording settings switch to 'saving,' the settings are saved in the order from the one which switches first.
