Notes on Operation

■ Cleaning tape drives
Backup Exec has a function to automatically clean tape drives. When automatically cleaning tape drives, use
the Backup Exec's automatic cleaning function.
4.4.2

Device Drivers

A Veritas Technologies LLC tape device driver is required to use the LT260 if the OS is Windows Server 2008 R2
or earlier. Windows Server 2012 or later doesn't require a driver.
To download the latest tape device driver, contact the seller of the software.
