Example
Working GS4000 as a layer2 or layer3 switch by setting an IP address for
Figure 5-2 below shows the network where VLAN and an IP address of VLAN are set.
Prerequisites for configuration information settings are;
・The name of a device must be "GS1".
・The interface ports from 0/0 to 0/3 of "GS1" must be allocated to VLAN100.
・The interface port 0/4 of "GS1" must be allocated to VLAN200.
・RIP must be used as a routing protocol between VLAN100 and VLAN200.
