Check 2 For error code 9h:
Make sure the PS/2 mouse or keyboard is not connected. If connected,
turn off the power and disconnect it.
Connect the AC cord to the computer and turn on the power.
If the error still exists, go to Procedure 3.
Check 3 For error code Ah:
Make sure the battery pack is correctly installed in the computer. If the
battery pack is correctly installed, go to the following step:
Replace the battery pack with a new one.
If the error still exists, go to Procedure 3.
Check 4 When error code Ch displays, it indicates that the CPU temperature is too high.
The computer automatically enters Resume mode and shuts down.
Leave the computer off until the AC IN icon stops blinking. We recom-
mend that the computer remain off until its interior reaches room tempera-
ture even though the AC IN icon stops blinking.
If the error still exists, go to Procedure 3.
Check 5 For error codes Dh or Eh:
Make sure no optional device is connected. If one is connected, turn off
the power and disconnect it.
Connect the AC cord to the computer and turn on the power.
If the error still exists, go to Procedure 4.
