Subtest 04 Cross Talk & Peak Shift
Writes eight types of worst pattern data (shown below) to a cylinder, then
reads the data while moving from cylinder to cylinder.
Subtest 05 Write/Read/Compare (CE)
Writes B5ADADh worst pattern data to the CE cylinder on the HDD, then
reads the data from the CE cylinder and compares it with the original data.
Subtest 06 Write Specified Address
Writes specified data to a specified cylinder and head on the HDD.
Subtest 07 Read Specified Address
Reads data which has been written to a specified cylinder and head on the
HDD.
Subtest 08 ECC Circuit
Checks the Error Check and Correction (ECC) circuit functions of the speci-
fied cylinder and head on the HDD.
Subtest 09 Sequential Write
Writes specified 2-byte data to all of the cylinders on the HDD.
Subtest 10 W-R-C Specified Address
Writes data to a specified cylinder and head on the HDD, then reads the data
and compares it to the original data.
