Testing functionality by secondary injection

Switch the fault current on and observe that PU_A and BFI_3P appears. Also, measure the
operating time of BRPTOC.
Use the TRIP signal from the configured binary output to stop the timer. Repeat step 4 and step 5
by changing MeasType to Peak and Peak-to-peak and observe the operate time of BRPTOC.
6.
Activate the input BLOCK on the BRPTOC function block.
7.
Switch on the fault current (110% of the setting).
No PU_A, BFI_3P, and TRIP signal should appear.
8.
Switch on the fault current (110% of the setting) and observe.
No PU_A, BFI_3P, and TRIP signal should appear.
9.
Switch off the fault current.
10.
For a short while inject a current (fault current) in same phase to about 90% of the set operating
current, and switch the current off.
11.
Switch the fault current on.
No PU_A, BFI_3P, and TRIP signal should appear.
12.
Switch the fault current on and observe.
No PU_A, BFI_3P, and TRIP signal should appear.
13.
Switch off the fault current.
14.
If required, reset the ENABLE binary input.
15.
Switch the fault current on.
No PU_A, BFI_3P, and TRIP signal should appear.
16.
Switch the fault current off.
17.
Repeat the above steps by injecting fault current in phase B.
18.
Repeat the above steps by injecting fault current in phase B and C.

Completing the test
Continue to test another function or end the test by changing the TESTMODE setting to Disabled.
Restore connections and settings to the original values, if changed for testing purposes.

Verifying the settings
1.
External detection logic, Contact function selection = ContactSel setting equals CCPDSC (52PD)
signal from CB. Activate the EXTPDIND binary input, and measure the operating time of CCPDSC
(52PD).
Use the TRIP signal from the configured binary output to stop the timer.
2.
Compare the measured time with the set value tTrip.
3.
Reset the EXTPDIND input.
4.
Activate the BLKDBYAR binary input.
This test should be performed together with Autorecloser SMBRREC (79).
5.
Activate the EXTPDIND binary input.
No TRIP signal should appear.
6.
Reset both BLKDBYAR and EXTPDIND binary inputs.
7.
Activate the BLOCK binary input.
8.
Activate EXTPDIND binary input.
NO TRIP signal should appear.
9.
Reset both BLOCK and EXTPDIND binary inputs.
