Disassemble the

1 . Ribbon-cable connecting the

ront P anel to the Motherboard
α . Disconnect the Ribbon cable from J4

emove the Ribbon cable
2 . Ribbon-cable connecting the RPG
m
odule to the Display module
α . Disconnect one end
f
rom J1 on the RPG
m
odule
b . Disconnect the other end from
C
N2 on the Display module

emove the Ribbon cable
3. Display module
α . Disconnect from
C
Nl, the cable coming
f
rom the RPG
m
odule
b . R
elease the
m
odule
f
rom its plastic support clips (see "How to

emove P C B oards from Plastic Support Clips") above)

emove the Display module
4 . RPG

odule
α . If not already done, disconnect and remove Ribbon cables
connected to
J
4 and Jl
b . If not already done, disconnect the cable going

rom the RPG
m
odule to CN1 on the Display module
ε. Disconnect the Ribbon cable
f
rom J3 . This cable connects
to the
H
ead unit and is
f
olded under the RPG
m
odule and
trapped there to accommodate the
l
ength
o
f t he Ribbon cable
d . Slide the cover of J2 toward the
l
arge Key pad to release the
flexible connector, and remove the connector
f
rom J2
e .

elease the

odule
f
rom its plastic support clips (see "How to

emove the RPG
m
odule
5 . RPG knob

sing gentle, steady pressure, pull the knob off the RPG Head
unit shaft. There are no retaining screws
6 . RPG Head unit

sing α 12mm nut driver, remove the nut that secures the
RPG Head unit to the
