1.3.2 Securing the Equipment

Tools: marker, ink fountain, long leather measuring tape, crane, socket wrench,
torque wrench, Phillips screwdriver, jack, steel hoisting rope, level, level gauge,
hammer drill, angle ruler, claw hammer, vacuum cleaner
Materials: equipment, expansion bolt, angle steel bracket
Procedure
Step 1 Adjust the equipment in the installation direction, connect the steel hoisting ropes,
and hoist the equipment onto the steel frame.

Precautions
Ensure that the crane and steel ropes provide the required
bearing capacity.
The doors of equipment to be hoisted are closed.
Ensure that the steel ropes are securely connected.
Ensure that the weather condition is good without wind
when equipment needs to be hoisted outdoors.
The ambient wind speed must be lower than 10 m/s.
Do not allow any unauthorized people to enter the
hazardous areas and never stand under the crane arm
during hoisting.
Ensure that the crane is properly located and avoid long-
distance hoisting.
Keep the equipment stable and horizontal during hoisting,
and ensure that the diagonal gradient of the equipment is
within 5 degrees.
Lift and land equipment slowly to prevent shock to
equipment inside it.
Remove the steel ropes after ensuring that the device is
placed evenly on the concrete platforms.
