● If the external connector of a water pipe is a union, seal the end face using the washer
(bound to the pipe) delivered with the unit.
● Water pipes must be sealed using sealing washers based on pipe specifications. When
installing a washer, mount the washer in the female connector, attach it to the flange,
and then rotate the washer to secure it.
● When installing water pipes, use two adjustable torque wrenches (three if dual unions
are used). One is used to secure the connector to prevent it from being damaged or
twisted due to passive rotation, and the other is used to tighten the nut.
● The water pipe must be wrapped with thermal insulation foam (including the buried
pipe) with a thickness of at least 3 cm.
● If water traps are purchased by yourself, the negative pressure of 400 Pa must be
overcome for the condensate drain trap and 100 Pa must be overcome for the spray
drain trap. In addition, odors and insects in the pipes must be prevented from entering
the unit.
Remove the paper protective film from the sealing putty.
After the pipes are connected and verified, seal the gaps between the water
pipes and the sheet metal and between the sheet metal and the device using
sealing putty.
CA UTION
If the sealing putty cannot fill a gap, use sealant to seal the joint. Poor sealing
may result in water leakage.
