Taking the Picture

From Main LCD

Activate the camera function.
Look at the camera viewfinder screen and adjust the camera position to place the target on
the screen.
Hold the camera still and press Select.
View the picture taken on the Main LCD.
From 2nd-LCD

Activate the camera function and press * (Asterisk Symbol) key or close the phone's flip
cover.
Look at the camera viewfinder screen and adjust the camera in a position with the shutter at
the top left corner of the phone cover.
Hold the camera still and press the lowest Side button (this is the Side up key when the
fold is open) to take a picture of yourself.
Open the flip cover and view the picture taken on the Main LCD.

Saving a Picture

After taking a picture and viewing it,

Press Select to save it as a JPEG file in the Photo folder of Pictures in Audio and Visual.
The default name for the picture is the date and time (ddmmyy-hhmmss) using the date and time
settings of your phone.

Discarding a Picture

If you are not satisfied with the picture taken,

Press CLR to display the decision screen, "File is not saved. Discard image?"
Press Softkey 1 (Yes) to discard the picture and return to the camera viewfinder screen to
take another picture.

If a call is received while
you are checking or
saving a photographed
image, image storage is
cancelled. When this
occurs, the next time you
select camera function a
message appears to say
that you have an image
that was not stored,
allowing you to check and
store the image.
Before taking a picture,
you may switch to the
video camera function by
pressing Softkey 2
(Video). This use of
Softkey 2, however, is
invalid if the self-timer
function is activated.
Go to the Audio and
Visual of the Main Menu
to delete saved pictures in
the Photo folder.
