Adding/Editing a Task

At the Add New screen or Edit screen, use the text entry procedures (see page 67) to input
the note text.
Press Select to save the note. The first line of the note text displays as the note name
without spaces between the words in the Notepad List.
To change the note name in the List, press MENU (Options Menu) and 5 to display the
Rename item screen. Press CLR to remove unwanted characters and input the text for the
preferred note name. Press Select to save the note name.

Notepad Options Menu

This options menu applies to the Notepad List and Preview screens. Specific tasks may be
completed through the Options menu.
To display the Options menu,

Highlight a note in the Notepad List or display the note in the Preview screen.
Press MENU (Options Menu) to display the Options menu and select the option number of
the desired function.
The following list describes the menu options that display.
(1) Edit item
(2) Use item
(3) Delete item
(4) Delete all
(5) Rename item
(6) Copy item
(7) Move item

Set protection on/off for any selected note so the note cannot be
deleted or changed.
1. Send the note in a SMS message.
2. Send the note in a MMS message.
3. Send the note in an Email.
Delete the highlighted note item or folder if it is unprotected.
Delete all unprotected notes in a folder list.
Edit he note name of the highlighted note or folder.
The Copy item list displays. Highlight the preferred folder name and
press Softkey 1 (Copy). The note is copied to the selected folder.
The Move item list displays. Highlight the preferred folder name and
press Softkey 1 (Move). The note is moved to the selected folder.
Depending on the folder
or note conditions, some
options may be disabled
(grayed out).
