Message Icons
The following icons represent the number of read and unread message in the Message folders.
Changing Folder Names
To change the folder name of Folder 1 or Folder 2,

Highlight the Folder 1 or Folder 2 name.
Press MENU (Options Menu) and 6 to display the Rename folder screen.
Press CLR to remove the existing folder name. Input the new name and press Select.
Checking New Emails
To check if new Emails are in the message service center,

Press Softkey 1 (Message) or MENU (Main) and 2 to display the Message menu screen.
Press Softkey 2 (Check).
Be patient and allow the Emails to download. The new Emails are listed in the Inbox folder.
When Check is selected, the wireless phone connects to the Email server. First, messages in
the Outbox folder (messages set to "send later" or failed to be sent on the first send attempt) are
sent. Second, a check is made for any new messages in the Email server and listed to Inbox.
Displays to the left of the folder name indicating unread messages in
the folder.
Display to the left of the folder name indicating read messages in the
folder.
Display above the left softkey providing the total of unread
messages in a highlighted folder.
Displays above the left softkey providing the total of read messages
in a highlighted folder.
The number of read and
unread messages in a
highlighted folder displays
above the softkey area.
If a message is in a folder,
an icon displays on the
left side of the folder
name.
The number of unread
messages displays to the
right of the folder name.
If the Email settings have
not been established, the
Email Account settings
display to establish the
settings.
