Network Settings
Network Search Type

Press MENU (Main), 1, 8, and 1 to display the Search type screen.
Press 1 to select the automatic mode or 2 to select the manual mode.
If you select Maual, the phone will scan for avaible service providers when a connection is
lost. It will then present you with a list of available providers from which to choose. If you
select Automatic, the phone will automatically select a service provider when a connecton
is lost.
New Network Search

Press MENU (Main), 1, 8, and 2 to search and list the available networks. The Network list
screen displays.
Highlight the desired network. Press Softkey 1 to connect to it.
SIM List
*
Press MENU (Main), 1, 8, and 3 read the network list in the SIM memory.
Highlight the desired network, and press MENU (Options Menu).
Press the appropriate key for the desired function:
1 Add
Adds a new network to the list.
2 Move
Moves the highlight network within the list. Use the Up and Down navigation
keys to move the network, and press Softkey 1.
3 Remove
Deletes the highlighted network.
Frequency Band
The frequency band setting must be set before using your phone. Refer to page 29 of "Getting
Started" for more information on the frequency band setting.
Frequency bands must be adjusted to suit the location when roaming (Europe, United States,
etc.) for the phone to work properly.
Before you manually
select a network, ensure
it is covered under the
agreement you have
with your service
provider.

network or SIM list,
please contact and
consult with your
network service
provider.
