Email

To create and send an Email from the Idle screen,

Press Softkey 1 (Message), Softkey 1 (New), and 3 to display the New Email screen with
<Add new> in the To field highlighted.
Input the recipient's Email address. Press Select and Softkey 1 (OK) to return to the New
Email screen.
Or press BOOK to access the last viewed phonebook. Highlight the desired Email address
and press Select to return to the New Email screen with the selected Email address placed
in the To field.
Highlight and select the Subject field. Input the subject text in the Subject text editor screen.
Press Select to return to the Email screen.
Highlight and select the message icon to display the Message text entry screen. Input the
message text and press Select to return to the New Email screen.
Email Attachments
To add attachments to the Email,

At the New Email screen, highlight and select the attachment icon to display the
attachments screen.
Press MENU (Options Menu) and 1 to display the Add item menu.
Press the corresponding number of the preferred item to attach to the Email. The Add
Attachment screen displays with the folders for the selected item type.
Highlight and select the preferred folder to display the items.
Press Softkey 1 (Preview) if you wish to preview the item before attaching it to the Email.
Press the appropriate Softkey to end/stop the previewing.
Press Select to list the selected item in the Enter Filename screen. If you prefer, you may
change the name of the file. Press CLR to remove unwanted characters. Input the preferred
name for the item file.
Press Select to return to the Attachments screen with the item added to the list.
When finished adding the preferred attachment items, press Select to return to the New
Email screen.
The Picture, Movie, and
Sound folders are from
Audio and Visual. The
Text folder is from Tools
Notepad.
