Every fixed or programmable key has an associated lamp
beside it. The way that the key lamp lights depends on the
key with which it is associated:
Key Lamp Type
Feature key lamp
(CONF, JOIN, etc.)
Answer key lamps
(Answer, Incoming,
Recall or Trunk
group answer)
Call appearance lamps (to the left of the CAPs) indicate
the status of their associated CAPs:
When the lamp is...
dark
winking
flashing
steadily lit
Description
light when the key is activated
flash when a call terminates at
the key.
then the CAP...
is idle
has a call on hold
has a ringing call
has an active call
