Symptom
Water is supplied
while washing
or rinsing is in
progress.

before the spinning
operation of the
rinse cycle.

Possible cause
 When the water level drops during washing,
water is supplied automatically.
Did you add excessive amounts of detergent?
 The foam sensor will detect excessive
amounts of foam and automatically drain and
supply water.
 During the first rinse operation, water is
supplied to reduce foaming before the
spinning operation.
Did you add excessive amounts of detergent?
 Water will be sprayed inside the drum to
reduce foaming for up to 15 minutes. The
indicators to the left of the buttons will display a
rotating pattern during this operation.
Do you clean the drain outlet regularly?
Did you wash several items, such as towels,
that produce significant amounts of lint?
 Lint may accumulate more easily depending
on the shape of your drain outlet.
Is the drain hose connected securely to the
drain outlet?
 Depending on the installation of the machine,
water may spill out of the drain outlet during
drying operations and wet the surrounding
area.
Is the
indicator on the control panel lit?
 If so, the door is locked and cannot be
opened.
Did you turn off the power while the door was
locked?
 If so, the door will remain locked and cannot
be opened.
Did you turn off the power during a spin
operation?
 If you turn on the power immediately after
in such cases, the door will remain locked
and cannot be opened until the drum stops
rotating.
Did you press the [PAUSE] button during a spin
operation?
 If so, the door will not open until the drum
stops rotating.
Did you turn off the power during a drying
operation?
 If so, the door will remain locked and cannot
be opened until the inside of the drum cools
down.

Refer to the detergent indicator to determine the
appropriate amount of detergent.
