If a Loss of Power Occurs

If power is suddenly lost due to an outage or accidental unplugging, a built-in
backup battery retains the user data settings and the speed dialing settings. Any
documents stored in memory are retained in the machine for about 60 minutes as
long as the battery is fully charged at the time of the power cut.
You cannot send, receive, copy, or print documents during a power cut.
