Available Paper Sizes

When the machine receives a fax document, it is printed from the paper drawer that
has the same size paper as the received document.
If the paper of the correct size is not available, the machine automatically select the
different paper size in the following order. The paper size is automatically selected
in the same order, even if paper runs out during printing.

LGL originals
LTRR originals
LTR originals

*1 Received documents are automatically reduced before being printed on the paper size indicated.
IMPORTANT
•
If the machine runs out of all paper sizes, the document is received in memory and
printed when paper is loaded in the machine.

Received documents can be printed on the following paper sizes and paper types:
- Paper Sizes: 11'' × 17'', LGL, LTR, LTRR, and STMT
- Paper Types: plain, recycled, and color
NOTE

You can set the machine to reduce the size of the received document if the document is
larger than any of the available paper sizes. The preset reduction ratios are 75%, 90%,
95%, or 97%. (See "Reducing a Received Document," on p. 6-23.)

You can set the machine to print received documents on both sides of the paper, if the
optional Duplex Unit-A1 is installed. (See "Two-Sided Printing," on p. 6-26.)

You can change the order of paper selection. (See "Paper Drawer Selection," on p. 4-5.)
•
Received documents are output face down, in the order in which the pages are received.
