5. Locate the outer rails on the rack frames.
NOTES:
Check the way in which the guide rail assembly must be
installed. There are four holes on the front side of the
guide rail assembly and there are two holes on the rear
side.
Notice the angle holes on the supports of the rack.
Locate the guide rail assembly so that it is centred on a
2U setting place, that is, on a portion with the narrower
distance between angle holes.
On NEC racks, each 1U setting place is numbered to
make their identification easier.
IMPORTANT: In racks wider than 600mm, you must
move back the outer rails. This will ensure that you can
close the rack door once the ST1220 is installed.
6. Attaching in an NEC rack

In NEC racks, attach 4 screws in positions B and C, and tighten them. In racks of lesser
depth, tighten the screws in position B and B'.
