SOLVING PROBLEMS

When the system fails to operate as expected, see the following to find out your problem and follow
the instruction given before asking for repair.
If the system still fails to operate successfully after solving your problem, check the STATUS lamps
at the front side of EcoPowerGateway or STATUS and DC output lamps on the power unit installed
in the rear of the EcoPowerGateway.
Take a note on the message displayed on the management PC connected with the
EcoPowerGateway and contact your service representative.

EcoPowerGateway

Fail to power-on:
Is the proper power supplied to the EcoPowerGateway?
Make sure that the power cord is connected to the power outlet that meets the
specification required for the EcoPowerGateway.
Use the power cord that comes with the EcoPowerGateway. In addition, make sure
that the outer cover of the power cord is not broken and the plug is not bent.
Did you press the POWER switch?
Press the POWER switch to power on (the POWER lamp lit green).
Press the DC output switch to turn the DC power on (DC output lamp lit green).
Power is not supplied to the server unit or enclosure unit:
Did you connect the cable properly?
Connect the power cable to the DC output port on the rear of the
EcoPowerGateway. Use the power cable dedicated to EcoPowerGateway (K410-
213(xx)).
Press the DC output switch on the rear of the EcoPowerGateway. When the switch
is pressed, DC output lamp goes on green. Make sure that the lamp is lit green.
Also refer to the troubleshooting described in the User's Guide of server unit or
modular server installed in the Module Enclosure.
