ENDING ESSAGES
You can mark a message as urgent before sending the message. The system plays urgent messages before
other messages.
Messages can be marked as urgent when you leave a message directly in a subscriber's mailbox or when
you call an unanswered extension.

To send an urgent message

Call the messaging system and log on.

Press to leave a message.

Use the phone keys to spell the last name of the subscriber, usually the first three letters of the
subscriber's last name. Or enter the extension number.
The system lists the subscribers that meet last name or extension criteria you entered.

• Press when you hear the name of the subscriber you want.

• Press to hear the next matching name.

Record your message after the beep.
CAUTION!
The message must be at least two seconds in duration or it will not be
delivered.
