You can change and rerecord a group name, or change a group number.

Call the messaging system and log on.

Press to change a group name or number.

Use the phone keys to enter the first three letters of the group's name.

Press when you hear the name of the group.

Press to hear the next matching name.

Press to change the group name or group number.

Follow the system prompts to change the group name.
NOTE
When searching for group names, the digit 1 is used as a wild card. Minimize
the use of the digit (wild card) since it can result in increased search times
and use additional messaging system resources.
After pressing the first few letters of a group name, pressing
amount of time the system takes to return group names.

To change a message group name or number

Sign in to the Mailbox Manager.
Click the Groups tab.

The Groups page appears, displaying the list of current groups.

Click the message group name for the group you want to modify.
The Groups: <Group Name> page appears. The basic information about the group, including the
name of the group and the current membership, appears.
