Staccare il cablaggio principale da quello posteriore e rimuoverlo dal lato
destro del motociclo. Rimuovere il silenziatore di scarico (43) dal telaietto
posteriore (recuperare i particolari del fissaggio "C" per poterli riutilizzare
nel montaggio del nuovo silenziatore). Allentare la fascetta (44) di fissaggio
posteriore del raccordo scatola filtro-carburatore, rimuovere le viti (x), (y) ed il
telaietto posteriore completo di scatola filtro e parafango posteriore. Rimuo-
vere il carburatore ed adeguare la carburazione utilizzando le parti fornite
con la dotazione del motociclo (prestare la massima attenzione nell'uso di
queste parti). Procedere nel modo seguente:
A) LATO INFERIORE DEL CARBURATORE (250)
Rimuovere il tappo inferiore (C) della vaschetta (chiave da 17 mm) e
sostituire il getto del minimo (1) (da #50 a #45).
B) LATO DESTRO DEL CARBURATORE (250/450/510)
Rimuovere il coperchio (2) di protezione cavi carburatore e rimuovere il
distanziale (3) posto sulla pompa di ripresa.
C) LATO SUPERIORE DEL CARBURATORE (250/450/510)
Rimuovere il coperchio (4) ed il distanziale (5). Sostituire lo spillo conico (6)
(da OBDVT a OBDVR) e fissarlo alla 4a tacca sul 250 o 5a tacca sui 450/
510). Montare il distanziale (7), la molla (8) e la vite (9). Sui 510, ruotare la
vite titolo miscela (10) di 2 giri anzichè 1 e 1/2.
Sostituire il raccordo di aspirazione (45) con quello fornito con il KIT.
Rimontare il carburatore.

Detach the main wiring harness from the rear wiring harness. Remove the
main wiring harness from the R. H. side of the motorcycle. Remove the
exhaust silencer (43) from the rear frame (recover the fastening parts assy.
"C" for the new silencer assembly). Loosen the clamp (44) for the rear
fastening of air filter-carburetor manifold then remove the screws (x), (y) and
the rear frame assy. complete with air filter and rear fender. Remove the
carburetor then update the carburetor setting using the parts supplied with
the motorcycle equipment (handle with care these parts). Proceed as
follows:
A) CARBURETOR LOWER SIDE (250)
Remove the float chamber lower plug (C) (17 mm wrench); remove and
replace the idle jet (1) (from #50 to #4 5 )
B) CARBURETOR R.H. SIDE (250/450/510)
Remove the carburetor control cables cover (2) and the spacer (3) located
on the acceleration pump.
C) CARBURETOR UPPER SIDE (250/450/510)
Remove the cover (4) and the spacer (5). Replace the metering pin (6)
(from OBDVT to OBDVR) then lock it at the 4th notch on 250) or the 5th notch
on 450/510). Assemble: spacer (7), spring (8) and screw (9). On 510 adjust
the mixture screw (10) (2 turns instead of 1+1/2). Replace the intake
manifold (45) with the new one supplied with the KIT. Reassemble the
carburetor.

Détacher le câblage principal du postérieur et l'enlever du côté droit du
motocycle. Enlever le silencieux d'echappement (43) du cadre arrière
(récupérer les particuliers de la fixation "C" pour les pouvoir réutiliser dans
l'assemblage du nouveau silencieux). Desserrer le bandelette (44) de
fixation arrière du raccord boîte filtre-carburateur, enlever les vis (x), (y) et le
cadre arrière complet de boîte filtre et garde-boue arrière. Enlever le
carburateur et ajuster la carburation en utilisant les parties fournis avec la
dotation du motocycle (prêter la maxime attention dans l'usage de ces
parties). Démarche de la manière suivante:
A) CÔTÉ INFÉRIEUR DU CARBURATEUR (250)
Enlever le bouchon inférieur (C) de la cuvette (clé de 17 mm) et remplacer le
jet du ralenti (1) (de #50 à #45).
