Following a successful firmware update of your SIPROTEC 5 device, you might also have to update the existing
device parameter set. Proceed as follows:

Before you begin the update, take note of the following:

Before updating the parameter set, use DIGSI 5 to backup your SIPROTEC 5 device!
Start DIGSI 5 on your PC.

Select the device in the project tree.

Right-click to open the context menu.

Select Upgrade the configuration version....
