k
Disconnect the negative terminal (Ð) of the
battery before starting the work.
k
In the case that you do not drain the cool-
ant, if you disconnect the heater hose when
the coolant temperature in the radiator is
high, you may be scalded. In this case, wait
until the coolant temperature lowers and
then disconnect the heater hose.
k
Collect
the
air
(R134a) from air conditioner circuit in
advance.
a Ask professional traders for collecting and fill-
ing operation of refrigerant (R134a).
a Never release the refrigerant (R134a) to the
atmosphere.
k
If refrigerant gas (R134a) gets in your eyes,
you may lose your sight. Accordingly, put
on protective goggles while you are collect-
ing the refrigerant (R134a) or filling the air
conditioner circuit with the refrigerant
(R134a). Collecting and filling work must be
conducted by a qualified person.

If the radiator coolant temperature is high,
wait until it lowers to avoid scalding your-
self and then disconnect the heater hose.

Swing the upper structure 90 degrees.

Drain the coolant.

Remove front window (1).

Remove step plate (2).

Remove floor mat (3).

Remove covers (5) and (6).

Pull fresh air filter cover opening lever (8).

Remove fresh air filter (9).
9.
Remove rear covers (10) – (13).
10. Remove duct (14).
11. Remove cover (15).
a Remove connector H15 fixed to the rear
side from the clip.
12. Remove plate (16).
