6.1 Management of the organization
All you need to do is enter a new machine ID. However, you can also change the
master data accordingly.

Description
Name of the machine in the user's organization.
This machine name must be unique within an
organization.
Freely selectable, additional name of the
machine can be the name used by the end user
(inventory number) or type designation.
Name of the end user: Machines can be
selected in the machine tree according to the
end user.
Specifies the location of the machine: Machines
can be selected in the machine tree according
to their location.
The device class defines the functions that can
always be used on a particular machine.
Various functions cannot be used depending on
the device class. See Section: Client
diagnostics
SINUMERIK, S7, and IPC are available in the
selection.
Notice:
It is no longer possible to change the device
class of a machine that has already been
created and has been connected once.
