Description
To edit the master data of a machine, you can
switch to the master data menu.
See also Section: Editing the master data of a
machine
For multimachine functions such as deleting,
upgrading, or exporting, all machines or indi-
vidual machines can be selected or cleared.
This selection is used to specify which informa-
tion is displayed in a column.
ePS Network Services:
Version 3 or 4
The color changes to green to indicate that a
machine is active or connected.
Lines displayed on this icon indicate that ma-
chine logon is required to operate ePS.
An arrow indicates that logon is not necessary.
Company, location, and production unit are the
details from the machine master data that are
displayed.
Displays the device class selected in the ma-
chine master data (SINUMERIK, SIMATIC,
IPC).
Creates a new machine with same settings as
an existing machine.
Only a new machine name (ID) must be
uniquely assigned.
If you want to run an individual ePS machine
with another server, export the machine and
import it again on the other server.
The machine must first be disconnected before
it is exported.
Activate the machine for the purpose of using
the ePS Network Services. Deactivated ma-
chines cannot use ePS Network Services.
Deletes a machine permanently. Data is no
longer available for this machine.
If an individual machine is selected, it is dis-
played again separately, as described above.
Launches the export function when multiple
machines are selected.
