3.4.2 Control monitors - Detailed view

Function description
The detailed view of a control monitor is accessed by selecting an existing control
monitor or creating a new one.

Control monitors are divided into three modules:
1. Trigger and conditions module
2. Action module
3. Workflow module
The function settings for a control monitor are made in the general section.

The triggers are used to configure the logic, the information queries from the
NC; PLC, ePS Network Services database or any other intelligent compo-
nents, which can be addressed and are linked via the OPC and other proto-
cols in order to start actions and/or workflows.

Workflows are notifications via e-mail or SMS and maintenance schedules.

Diagnostic actions involve data acquired from the control (NCK, PLC; PC or
another intelligent components, which can be addressed via OPC and other
protocols).
