8.3 Installing Battery Cables

When installing battery cables, install the negative cable before the positive cable.
Step 1 Remove insulation covers from both ends of the battery string.
Step 2 Secure one end of the negative battery cable to the battery circuit breaker in the power cabinet,
and the other end to the negative battery terminal in the battery cabinet.
Step 3 Secure one end of the positive battery cable to the RTN+ busbar in the power cabinet, and the
other end to the positive battery terminal in the battery cabinet.
