Preface
Unexpected start up of the drive
If the function "Safe Torque Off" is deactivated, the drive can start up unexpectedly. This
can result in death, serious personal injury or severe material damage.
To demonstrate that the function "Safe Torque Off" is deactivated, the specified switches
(e.g., "Safe Torque Off" mushroom-head pushbutton on the system) must be removed.
Note
The components must be protected against conductive pollution (e.g., using a cabinet with
IP54 protection).
Provided that conducted interference can be prevented at the installation site, the degree of
protection for the cabinet can be decreased accordingly.
