5.2.2 Temperature compensation parameters
Temperature-dependent parameters
Error curves for different temperatures can be defined for each axis, as illustrated in the
diagram above. For each error curve the following parameters must be determined and then
entered in the setting data:
● The following setting data for the position-independent temperature compensation value
● The following setting data for the reference position P
● The following setting data for the gradient tanβ for position-dependent temperature
Activating the temperature compensation function
Temperature compensation can be activated for every axis by means of the following axial
machine data:
MD32750 $MA_TEMP_COMP_TYPE (temperature compensation type)
The type of temperature compensation to be applied can also be selected and this can be
activated for several compensation types simultaneously:
