11.
Switch OFF A1 Main Breaker.
12. Insert into the PDU the following fuses:
A3 - F10, F11, F12, F13, F14, F15
A1 - F1, F2, F3, F5, F6
A4 - F2
13. Switch ON A1 Main Breaker.
14. Ensure that the three exhaust fans located at the top of the PDU are running without undue noise, and that
the indicator lights on the A2 panel (upper left corner) DS1, DS2, DS3 are ON.
15.
At the PDU A4 panel fuses, measure and note the voltage between the TS-2 GND/ NEUT block and the
input side of A4-F2 fuse. Ensure this voltage is 120 ± 9.6 Volts.
16. At the PDU A3, A1, and A4 panels respectively, measure and note the voltages between the TS-2
GND/NEUT block and the output side of the following fuses:
A3-F10, F11, F12, F13, F14, F15
A1-F1, F2, F3, F5, F6
A4-F2
Ensure voltages correspond to those voltages obtained in Steps 9, 10.
Caution:
PDU circuit breakers are overload trip devices. Do not force breaker to remain on.
Investigate overload.
17. At the PDU, switch on circuit breaker CB9, Filament Supply.
18. At the PDU on A2 terminal panel, measure and note voltage at A2TS5-14, 15. Ensure voltage is 230 ± 18.4
Volts.
19. At the MPX PWR unit, verify the filament supply indicator A11 DS1 is ON.
20. At the PDU, switch on the circuit breaker CB8, DAS Logic.
21. At the PDU A2 terminal panel, measure and note voltage at A2-TS5-9, 10. Ensure it is 120 ± 9.6 Volts.
22. At the PDU A2 terminal panel, measure and note voltage at A2TS7-8, 9. Ensure it is 24 ± 1.92 Volts AC.
23. At the Remote PDU Control Panel (REM), verify that the red electronics power OFF indicator switch is
illuminated.
24. At the PDU A3 panel, verify that the following relays are deenergized:
A3-K1, K2, K3
