Preset Setting
Use the same procedure as for FM modulation setting.
Refer to Section 4-3-1-3.
This feature makes i t easy to set FM-STEREO modulat ion to 30% or 1 0 0 1

PILOT LEVEL SETTING
This feature functions only during FM-STEREO modulation.
Make sure the LED of the PILOT key ©
1)
When the 2nd F key ©
current set p i l o t l e v e l i s displayed on the MODULATION display and the
ENT key's LED flashes.
2)
I f the p i l o t l e v e l i s to be changed, enter the desired value by using
the numeric keys whi 1 e the ENT key's LED 1 i g h t s .

When the ENT key i s pressed, the p i l o t l e v e l changes to the new l e v e l
and the d i s p l a y changes from showing the p i l o t l e v e l to modulat ion
display.

I f the preset FM-STEREO modulation ( 3 0 1
using the 2nd F key © , the p i l o t level i s automatically set to 1 0 1
* The pi lot l e v e l s e t t i n g range i s 0 — 1 5 1 I f values exceeding t h i s l e v e l
are input, the level returns to the value displayed before the setting.
* The p i l o t l e v e l s e t t i n g r e s o l u t i o n i s 11
decimal points are input, the d i s p l a y shown before the s e t t i n g was made
reappears.
