Camera event notification setting
To notify a camera recorder module of camera events detected by a network camera, configure the camera event setting in
the camera individual setting screen in the module extended parameter.
With this setting, camera events can be received.
For the setting method, refer to the following:
Page 105 Camera individual setting
The camera event notification setting can be monitored for each network camera in 'Camera event notification' (Un\G34254,
Un\G34754, Un\G35254, Un\G35754). (Page 282 Network camera status area (Un\G34000 to 37999))
Precautions
Camera event types that can be set differ for each network camera used.
For details, refer to the manual for a network camera used.
Otherwise, perform the communication test in the "Communication Test" screen in the module extended parameter to check.
If setting a parameter out of the setting range, the following error occurs:
• Camera event type unsupported error (error code: 1D41H)
Camera event trigger setting
The camera event notification set in the camera event setting can be set as a condition for satisfying a file saving trigger in the
file saving trigger setting screen in the recording setting.
For the setting method, refer to the following:
Page 135 File Saving Trigger Setting
The file saving trigger setting for a network camera can be monitored for each recording setting in 'Camera event trigger
settings' (Un\G3211, Un\G3311, Un\G3411, Un\G3511). (Page 279 Recording setting information area (Un\G3200 to
3999))
Considerations
• Camera events can be used as file saving triggers only.
• If a camera event occurs while a file saving trigger is satisfied in the same recording setting, it is treated as a disabled
trigger.
• If the camera event trigger setting is enabled and the camera event notification setting is disabled, a camera event setting
inconsistency error (error code: 1D54H) occurs when starting recording.
• If a camera event occurs and a network camera is disconnected at the same time, and when the camera event is reported
from the network camera after recovery, a time lag occurs between when the camera event occurs and when a file saving
trigger is satisfied.
• If a camera event occurs frequently in a network camera, the recording performance is affected (mainly video data
reception and accumulation).
