WARNING:
Due to the weight of a fully populated MX7000 enclosure chassis, never install or pull a full chassis
out of a rack with ReadyRails. First remove each component before you lift or remove the chassis.

The below table provides set of instructions for lead chassis, member chassis or chassis not in MCM group:
NOTE:
MX7000 can automatically backup and restore configurations stored in RCP and MCM data for OME-M version
1.3.0 and above.

Replace RCP.

Chassis Service Tag will be automatically
programmed.

The chassis configurations are restored
automatically.

If the chassis is configured to have DHCP IP,
then there may be new IP assigned to the
chassis by the DHCP server (as MAC address
changes in RCP replacement).
NOTE:
Display of new IP indicates that the chassis configuration is restored successfully.

chassis backup. Persistent storage on RCP needs to be fully functional
