The following describe the clearing procedure.
Do not disassemble, repair, or alter the server.
Never attempt to disassemble, repair, or alter the server on any occasion other
than described in this manual. Failure to follow this instruction may cause an
electric shock or fire as well as malfunctions of the server.
Clearing CMOS Data
1.
See the section "Preparing for Installation and Removal" as described in Chapter 9 of this
guide to prepare.
2.
Remove the left side cover (see Chapter 9).
3.
Install the jumper on position 3 - 2 (CMOS clear) of the jumper block. See the following
figure to find the location of this jumper.
4.
After three seconds later, reinstall the jumper.
5.
Reinstall the server and then turn on the power.
6.
Press F2 at the prompt to run the BIOS SETUP utility, and select "Load Setup Default" at
the Exit menu.

Clearing Password

1.
See the section "Preparing for Installation and Removal" as described in Chapter 9 of this
guide to prepare.
2.
Remove the left side cover (see Chapter 9).
3.
Check the location of jumper switch to clear the password.
4.
Change jumper switch setting according to the figure on the previous page.
5.
Plug the power cord to your server and turn on the server.
6.
POST stops at the error message shown below.
ERROR
B151 Password Cleared By Jumper
Press <F1> to resume, <F2> to Setup
7.
Turn off the power of the server. Restore the jumper strap removed in Step 4.
8.
Reassemble the server.
